ICM Announces Traverse at Three Sisters, Canmore’s First Purpose-Built Rentals
(December 2025 – Canmore, Alberta) ICM is pleased to announce Traverse at Three Sisters, Canmore’s first purpose-built townhome rental community. This thoughtfully designed 94-unit development will help address the region’s significant need for high-quality, long-term rental housing.
Located in the heart of Three Sisters Mountain Village, Traverse will feature 47 three-bedroom, 2.5-bath and 47 one-bedroom, 1-bath homes, each offering private entrances, dedicated parking, generous storage, granite countertops, and premium interior finishes.
Residents will enjoy thoughtful amenities such as a dog park, dedicated storage building (with dog wash), bike repair station, ski and snowboard tuning facilities, and an outdoor firepit gathering space – bringing together comfort, community, and the spirit of mountain living.
To further support local housing needs, ICM is participating in the Town of Canmore’s Purpose-Built Rentals Incentive Program, committing to rent at least 95% of units to primary residents of Canmore.
Mayor Sean Krausert shared his support for the initiative:
We need more housing in Canmore, both rental and ownership. Part of our Housing Action Plan is to incentivize purpose-built rentals, and we have developed an incentive program which aims to do just that. I am pleased to see the ICM group intending to apply to the program for their new 94-unit rental townhouse building in the Three Sisters area.
