ICM Completes Refinancing of Boca Alameda Development in Mexico City

(Mexico City, Mexico – May 2026) ICM Property Group (“ICM”) is pleased to announce the successful refinancing of the Boca Alameda hospitality development in Mexico City, marking an important step forward in the project’s continued progress.
The transaction enhances the project’s capital structure, improves overall financing terms, and increases the size of the credit facility through new financing provided by a leading Mexican financial institution. This outcome supports the final stages of construction while reinforcing market confidence in both the project and ICM as sponsor and developer.
Located in Mexico City’s Historic Center, adjacent to Alameda Central and surrounded by key cultural landmarks including the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Museo Franz Mayer, and Museo Mural Diego Rivera, Boca Alameda is a boutique hospitality development designed to deliver a high-quality, design-forward hotel experience in one of the city’s most active cultural and tourism districts. The project is planned to open later this year.
“This refinancing reflects the work completed over the past several months to enhance the project and secure terms that support its final phases of development,” said Oscar Portillo, Principal and Director of Investments for ICM’s Asset Management team in Mexico.“ It allows us to move forward with greater flexibility as we focus on delivering a high-quality asset for our investors.”
Construction remains on track, with the project advancing toward completion and its transition into a stabilized, income-generating asset aligned with long-term demand for hospitality in Mexico City.
Boca Alameda is also now featured on Marriott’s Autograph Collection website, reflecting its positioning within a portfolio of design-led, independently branded hotels.
